Daniel: I've been enjoying your blogs and interviews (on podcast). I'd urge you to broaden and diversify the students and others you interview and talk to. Seeing the standard four institutions is rather unsurprising but also doesn't clarify the amazing research happening elsewhere. Now I realize it isn't easy to know who does what and where but please consider it. That said, I enjoyed the interview with Shreya very much. Thanks.
Hi Lalitha, thanks for the note. You’re right that there’s a skew towards the standard few institutions among the academics I’ve interviewed. I’ll do my best to broaden things.
You’re absolutely right to call this out—I don’t have a full picture of what our audience looks like and still think of this as a hobby project, but I recognize the responsibility what we’re doing entails.
My next few months of interviews are scheduled out, so it may be a little bit of time before you notice a major change (my next few scheduled guests are from a mix of places—not the “usual 4” but still fairly well-known places).
That said, I have been reaching out to more potential guests with different backgrounds and areas of expertise as well. If you have specific people in mind that you think might make for interesting guests, I’m happy to consider suggestions!

I may have a few leads -- bear with me while I check with them before sharing. And thanks so much for taking this feedback into consideration.
Thank you again for listening and sharing your thoughts!
